A calendar in about 8 clicks . . .

Pearls before Swine Comic Strip. 23 Dec. 2011. Google Images. Web. 30 Jan 2016.

Do you want a calendar on your blog? A to-do-list? Or even your bucket list? It is quite easy.

Go to the settings in your Google Calendar. Click the Calendar Tab. If you have more than one calendar, click on the one you would like to embed. Find the "embed this calendar" section. Copy the code. Open a new post on your blog and click the HTML button. Paste the code. And that is it. I did it on the first try. That is how easy it is.

Good luck!

And just a note on spacing. It won't happen in the HTML page. To add comments or instructions to your calendar post, click on the "compose" tab. You will then be able to space things out like you'd like.

It's not just Google anymore . . .

Yes, google is now officially a word in the Oxford English Dictionary. If you are like me, you might have believed that Google is the way to find things on the web. I have recently been enlightened. Did you know Wolfram Alpha exists? Perhaps not. According to Wolfram Alpha, it ranks itself 2113th among websites. It receives 3.3 million hits per day. In comparison, Wikipedia has 520 million hits per day.

Wolfram Alpha is not exactly like Google. Well, it is not a search engine, but it is a way to compare websites, or Miami to New York, or perhaps, even apples to oranges. And it can do things Google can’t. This article lists 16 of those things. If you want to work out probabilities, get Scrabble scores, or see how common your name is, then type it in to Wolfram Alpha. If you're wondering just how Wolfram Alpha works (or how to correctly say Wolfram), then watch this YouTube video.

Are you looking for a video? Bing is the place to look. Yes, most people prefer Google, but Bing has features to find a video that Google does not. Check out this video and see if Bing can help you.
